Who is responsible

I'm Sara Presa, from Aveiro, Portugal, and I'm the controller of the personal data collected on this site.

What data I collect and why

I only collect the data I need, and only when you give it to me.

• Newsletter: your email and the site language you subscribed in, to send you the newsletter. The legal basis is your consent, which you give when you subscribe and confirm again through the link I email you.
• Messages: if you write to info@sarapresaa.pt or through the contact form, I use your name, your email, the topic you choose, the site language and your message only to reply to you. The legal basis is your request to get in touch.
• Technical logs: the hosting service may keep data such as your IP address for a short time, to keep the site secure and working.

Who I share data with

I use two services that process data on my behalf. I don't sell or give your data to anyone else.

• Resend: stores the newsletter list and sends the emails, including contact form messages.
• Vercel: hosts the site.

Transfers outside the European Union

These services may process data outside the European Economic Area, notably in the United States, with the safeguards required by the GDPR.

How long I keep data

Your email stays on the newsletter list until you unsubscribe. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link at the bottom of every issue of the newsletter, and if you want I'll delete all your data too. I keep the messages you send me only as long as needed to reply.

Cookies

This site doesn't use advertising, analytics or social media cookies. It only stores one functional cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) with the language you chose, to show the site in the right language. It isn't used to track you.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to ask for portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what was done before. You can also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (cnpd.pt).
